A
new vacuum lifter featuring customized formed pads to fit loads such as large
pipes, vessels, and curved tunnel sections weighing up to 60,000 lbs. each is
being introduced by ANVER Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.
ANVER
VPE Series Vacuum Lifters feature oversize frames with custom pivot points and
large formed pads that allow instant attach and release, without part
modification such as cast or welded lifting lugs requiring removal and rework.
Eliminating much of the labor and danger associated with rigging pipes, vessels,
and curved tunnel sections weighing up to 60,000 lbs., workers don’t have to
be physically in contact with the load when using these lifters.
Totally
self-contained, ANVER VPE Series Vacuum Lifters operate on 220/460 V 3-phase
power and include a heavy-duty vacuum pump and a warning and control module
which has timers and switches that turn the pump off and on at preset levels
to maintain a safe level for lifting. Other standard features include a
solid-state leakage sensor, check valve and reservoir that turns on
automatically in case of a leak and provides audio/visual status alarms.
