A
vacuum lifter that has been especially designed to let one person lift
and handle televisions weighing up to 1,000 lbs. (454 kg) is being introduced by ANVER
Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.
The
ANVER APF-Series Vacuum Lifter features special vacuum pad attachments
with articulating pads that conform to the curvature of a television screen and
have a low-profile that fits between the screen and a box.
Providing a handlebar with front mounted controls and gauges,
this vacuum lifter lets one person lift, handle, and package televisions and
monitors.
Eliminating
back strain, pinched fingers, and the need for two or more people to remove,
transfer to a bench, and then repack a TV or monitor into a box, the ANVER APF-Series
Vacuum Lifter has a reservoir, check valve, filter, and a vacuum leakage sensor
and alarm. Electric-
or compressed air operated lifters are available with a wide variety of pad
attachments.
