A new series of vacuum lifters for loading and unloading finished products into shipping containers or onto skids that cannot be handled from the top, is being introduced by ANVER Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts. ANVER VP-Series Side Grip Vacuum Lifters feature a cross-beam that has adjustable cross-arms which have vacuum pads on two sides for handling products that cannot be lifted from the top. Ideally suited for loading and unloading products into shipping containers or onto skids, these below-the-hook lifters can be supplied with capacities up to 15,000 lbs. (6804 kg). Available with a wide selection of suction cups and suspensions, ANVER VP-Series Side Grip Vacuum Lifters are available in either 115 VAC or air-powered versions, and can be equipped to tilt and rotate loads. Typical applications include metal enclosures that vent from the top, file cabinets, HVAC equipment, and others on which the top surface is insufficient to safely handle the load.
