A fully integrated vacuum-hoist lifter that is designed for picking up small, heavy steel wire spools and loading them onto winding machine spindles is being introduced by ANVER Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts. The ANVER VM-Series Spool Lifter features a head that rotates 359° and pivots to let users pick up small, heavy steel wire spools and load them onto a winding machine spindle. Fully integrated with the hoist, when the spool is being handled and the up/down controls are released, this vacuum lifter retains its position without drift, for easy loading by one person. Available with custom designed vacuum pick-up heads employing 12 or more suction cups to fit around the spool’s face structure, the ANVER VM-Series Spool Lifter is not weight sensitive and has a battery-operated vacuum alarm system for safety. These spool lifters can be pneumatic- or electric powered and built for handling loads up to 550 lbs (250 kg). |
