MSPX Series Vacuum Pump shown with a vacuum gauge mounted to the back port. This back port can be used for a gauge or for vacuum porting depending upon the application.
MSPX Vacuum Pump shown with a vacuum gauge mounted on the front port. The back and front right 1/8" ports have been plugged in this example and the vacuum enters through the 3/4" port in this configuration.
MSPX Vacuum Pump shown has been equipped with a vacuum gauge and optional control switch mounted on the front right port. The back port has been plugged shut. The optional electric switch makes this an air conservation system. Once vacuum has been achieved, the switch can signal a valve to shut off the compressed air as long as vacuum is maintained. The system works great in this configuration and is very economical to operate.

The "G" thread is also known as BSPP, commonly used world-wide for Vacuum Applications.
